In early November, the Camachos flew to Maui for a business meeting/vacation. Earl and Gail went along as “nannies” for the two girls, so that the parental units could have some getaway time to themselves. What a country!!
Alana was her usual self on the airplane—charming all and sundry, and fussing hardly at all.

Sophia moved around a bit, but spent a good deal of the time with her Daddy, listening to stories and watching movies.

This year was the first time that I’ve ever roasted a turkey! It turned out pretty well, too….

FRED MEYER, where I do a lot of shopping, had a promotion where they gave me a turkey for FREE, if I bought $150.00 worth of other merchandise. Since we had just got back from Maui and needed to stock up on perishables, it was pretty easy….and I ended up with a 21-pound turkey….

This is the drive from ANDREWS UNIVERSITY’s front gate up toward the campus…it’s really beautiful in the fall - probably other times, as well, but the weather is lovely in October. The gate is just up and across the street from the motel
